Our very own little relationship... world... whatever.
Brett is my best friend... to every extent of the word. He and I are not
your typical every day high school relationship. I don't think I need to tell anyone who knows us that. We
are us. We love each other very much, and that's all that really matters. We have a beautiful relationship, I
must say. Very peculiar, but very beautiful. Regardless of anything that could ever happen to us, we will always
be friends. That, we have proven time and time again to not only oureselves but to everyone around us. To many,
the fact that we love each other is trivial. But that's what our relationship revolves around. We treat each other
only as people who love each other do. We respect each other, and each other's privacy... though we don't usually require
much within our relationship. Nobody, though I'm sure many will try, will be able to figure us out. But that doesn't
really matter either. We know exactly what we feel and that's what's important. I can say that Brett is the only
guy in this world that I've known so far in my life who really completely understands me as a person, and I am the
only girl who completely understands him. I can be completely crazy around him and not have to worry about what he's
gonna think, and he can do the same with me. That's what usually gets people the most about us. Comfort within
ourselves. We trust each other to an extent way beyond most people's dreams. Just recently, we found this security
between us that cannot be shaken, and that's one of the best feelings I've ever had. It's great. We can confide
in each other in just about any case imaginable, and there is just something about our relationship that has actually made other
people wish they were in our shoes. According to so many people, we are perfect for each other. And
if you are wondering, talk of "future plans" (yes, marriage... for all of you who are lost right now) has come up.
And we both are in love with the idea. Brett decided that he was going to go to ULM as well, so we are both staying
home for at least our first 2 years... so that makes it a whole heck of a lot easier on our relationship.
But right now, we're just soaking up every moment of being young and being us. And I can tell you, there is absolutely
NOTHING better than that. We were together as a couple for a little over a year and seven months. Then we
were separated for about four months. And now here we are again, overall it's been about 2 and a half years. It
seems like nothing, not even ourselves, can keep us apart from each other. Some people refuse to attempt and see just
why I'm so stuck on this wonderful gift I've been given in Brett. He is my dream. And the only person I can picture
myself with for the rest of my life. You know the saying... "True love never dies." Call me crazy, but I really
don't care. What's the definition of crazy anyways? Following what your heart is telling you? Well, I believe
I'd rather be crazy than normal. I will quote Brett from a conversation we had once: "If I'm not
living for my dreams, then what am I living for?"
Some quotes that apply to us:
- Always do what you want, and say what you feel, because those who mind
don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
- Adversity is like a strong wind: it tears everything that can be taken until
the person left is who you really are.....
- Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.
- Best friends are the siblings God didn't give to us directly.
- When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside
you and your best friend will be there.
- Nobody is perfect... until you fall in love with them.
- Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.
- You cannot make someone love you; all you
can do is be someone who can be loved... the rest is up to them.
-
No one falls in love by choice, it is by CHANCE. No one stays in love by chance, it is by WORK. And no one falls out of
love by chance, it is by CHOICE.

We took this at our church's New Year's Eve lock-in. It was about 5:00 in the morning.
But it turned out to be a good picture anyway. But it makes me look really short!!!

This is Brett with one of his best friends, Andrew.

Me, Brett, and Mara at a TKD tournament at OJHS.

Ok. There is a story behind the background. Mara and I had to model prom
dresses for Dillard's, and Brett was one of the escorts. This was after the thingy was over and we had changed back
into normal people.

Sophomore year.

Mara, Brett, and me at the river.

Brett and one of his best friends, Jesse, on Jesse's webcam.

Brett trying to sleep on our church bus on the way to Minden, and me bugging the crap
out of him.

Brett playin his guitar in the cabin at Tennessee.

Us in Tennesse getting ready to go horseback riding!

Me and Brett before we exchanged our Christmas gifts for this year.

I'm wearing the shirt and necklace he got me, and he's wearing the hoodie I got him.

You have to understand the meaning behind the hoodie. It's special, first of
all because it came from me... lol. And because his soccer number is 17. He's been lookin for a shirt, jacket, anything
that had a 17 on it for the past 2 and a half years. Plus, green is his favorite color. The perfect Christmas present.
:)

*Thank-you's* Some will say "aww," some "eww." It's a matter of opinion. lol

Pretty flower.

Andrew and Brett in the talent show at Sr. High Camp. Aren't they cute together?

Andrew stylin' in his cowboy hat.

Brett in MY superGIRL shirt in my room. Interesting, isn't it?

Brett and me after modeling.

Junior year.

Hahahahaha... Oh, I'm so mean.

Awww.... Ya just can't help but smile. :)

Me waking Brett up at 7:00 in the morning! Good morning sunshine!

We left the camp to go to sonic. I'm looking at Brett like he's stupid while
he makes faces at D's camera. Notice, I'm not wearing any make-up in most of the Tennessee pics. AHHH!

They painted Brett's initials on his back... I wasn't there for that one cause we
were in different work groups.

A random pic of Brett with his hammer.

Me and Brett eating at youth one night.

OK well here's what happened. Me and Brett were in one of those "yes it does,
no it doesn't" arguments... you know, the funny ones? Well, Mr. Dennis and Mrs. Pam were sitting across the table and
D was like "Hold on, I've gotta get a picture of this." And so we tried to keep it up, but then we started laughing.
It was funny at the time.

All dressed up.

Ahh, the long ride to Jackson. We really were asleep. It's quite comfortable
at times.

Ice skating. Woot. Our youth director, D took this picture.
